DRESSING FOR THE WHITEWATER EXPERIENCE
|
WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING AND SHOES : Casual clothes and comfortable shoes are the standard dress staples. Passengers are advised to dress in layers, with lighter clothing underneath (shorts, t-shirts) and warmer clothing on the outer layer (jeans, a sweatshirt and windbreaker or a warm lined coat). Typically it is cooler on the coast and warmer inland during the summer months. Clients joining us for a river trip in May or October would be advised to bring along warmer clothing and rain gear.Passengers are welcome to bring along binoculars, cameras and video equipment. If they are on a whitewater trip they should be advised that there will be spray and that some type of waterproof bag should be brought with them. The client is responsible for this type of equipment on the trip. Film, hats, coats, sunglasses and gifts are available at our office. |
